My leg's not so bad, just a little crooked. I can still run after the mares in the pasture. I need a rider under 50 pounds.

This is Scout's story....
He was loved and raised by a very nice human who loved horses. Scout was born with a twisted front leg but the human loved him anyway. She was going to keep Scout forever but she became ill and could hardy take care of herself. She worried about her future and even more about Scouts. What would happen if she wasn't there to take care of him? She knew Scout needed a special home as a companion and pet. Posting an add for a Free horse may bring people to want Scout but they may not have Scout's best intentions in mind. Someone might lie and say the loved him then sell him to slaughter for a price per pound. Instead of letting this happen, Scout came to the rescue farm. He is well taken care of in a foster home but Scout needs his own human to love and groom him. He's is a great listener and therapist.
